assistant chosen from among the spectators concentrate their
thoughts on a small table which rises and starts to dance about the
stage with them...
...finally he blows the candle out,
takes the cloth from the table and shows the spectators an ordinary
table.
This trick is a nice prelude to one of
the larger illusions.
